Please note, because we specialise mainly in fiction that is out of copyright, we are not seeking to publish new original material, mainly because we do not have the marketing structure in place to enable us to promote it effectively. We would ask writers seeking a publisher not to send in material for our consideration to avoid disappointment.
An invaluable guide to where to send your manuscript can be found in the current edition of the Writers' and Artists' Yearbook, or on-line at www.writersandartists.co.uk Other useful information can be found on the website of the Publishers' Association: www.publishers.org.uk
Two literary agencies that are highly respected are United Agents http://www.unitedagents.co.uk/ and Peters Fraser & Dunlop http://www.petersfraserdunlop.com/
Careers / Work Experience at Wordsworth
We receive many enquiries from students asking if we offer work experience / internships, and of the possibility of a career with Wordsworth. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist, as there are no vacancies and we are unlikely to have any in the near future. The current staff have no plans to retire any time soon! With an increasing amount of our time being spent working from home, internships are not practical.
